Embark on glacier,
Build ice fort,
Design fort to accomodate 3/7 water on every floor tile,
Forbid all clothes,
Cooks craft York Peppermint Patties exclusively.

I'd like a game you suggest priced under $10 from GOG.com. If I already have it I'll pass it on. Thanks!

I would put each of my dwarves in a steel box and lower them into the magma for a little while, that way when they come up again they will not think the outside temperature is hot anymore.

I would like Gods & Kings or Quantum Conundrum (on steam.)

Since my dwarves are so cool, they only get the best. Liquid nitrogen. That oughta keep em cool forever.

Legends of Pegasus (Steam).

And off-topic: I would kill for a heat wave, hemmingjay. I just spend 3 days cleaning my house because of a flood. And it is still raining! Grumble grumble ...

Cheers for the generosity though!

Agricultural Simulator Historical Farming (On Gamersgate)
Oh my goodness that game looks amazing.

I give all my dwarves dyed capes, so even when they're hot, they're cool.

I'd like the Geneforge Saga on Steam if I win. Thanks! :D

Great suggestions so far and fun game choices. AgSim was strangely fun, but couldn't hold my attention for more than 8 hours. Kudos to you for sticking with it!

I would throw them down the waterfall. Side effects not intended :)

I would like Tom Clancy's Ghost recon future soldier. (On Steam)

On normal internet forums, threads devolve from content into trolling. On Bay12, it's the other way around.

Guild Wars 2.

For my dwarfs specifically, I only need to get them to the surface, since I've embarked on a ice-ish site. For keeping them warm, they be roasting food above magma, deep deep underground.

Build my own tower of Babel, but aimed at the sun so we can drop Magma on it! Surely the use of magma can solve a heat problem!

CK2: Sword of Islam DLC

and I hear you, it was nearly 106 where I live, but I'm more southern than NYC so, it's only natural to have this heat over here.

I believe we're talking about full scale colonisation here.  You don't just leave all your shit in the van when you move house.

I drown them in lake. Theyll be cool for the rest of their lives.

GW2 if its not too much to ask.

Again, IIRC, Phalanx was the formation, Hoplite was the soldier. Regardless, fortified in a fort on a mountain, they can even defeat a stealth bomber.

no single game title is too much(ok, I'll set a limit of $89 just in case some obscure $3000 title exists).
GW2 is fine. Any of the bundles on sale are fine too.

I'd have my dwarves abandon their fortress of many seasons and set up a new outpost in the frigid wastes.
The trek would be long and arduous, many of the dwarves would die in the blasting heat, but to reach the cold haven would be worth it in the end.

And I'd like either Recettear or Star Ruler on steam, whichever is cheaper for you to acquire. If they cost the same, then I'd like Recettear.

Well, I think I'd dig them a nice big pit, fill it with a river, one that has hostile fish in it. That way, if they wan't to be kept cool they have to work for it (and by work I mean fight for their damn dirty worthless little lives).

That'll teach the bastards to complain about being too hot, how would they expect to work with magma for petes sake if they can't handle a little heat wave!

As for the game, Wargame: European Escalation please.

Dress them up as Chuck Norris, then have them do a Zoolander-esque walk-off. Nothing cooler.

Shogun 2 or, if it's too expensive, then Starfarer (pre-purchase)

Embark near a river, build machinery (Waterwheels on the river to generate power, Indoor windmills to act as fans. There would be fans in every corridor and large room. Important/Useful dwarves in a smaller room would get a fan, too.)

Civ IV Complete on Steam would be great.
