I would keep my dwarves cool with a water-slide and nethercap hospital beds to exploit their natural coolness and accommodate everyone inevitably hurt by the water-slide.

I would give my dwarves alcohol...a lot of it. Consisting mainly of ale and mead. Dwarves need nothing else.

First, I would give all of my dwarves their own pickaxes. Then I would put them in a chamber linked to an adamantine vein, and have them seal themselves in to ensure that the heat from outside doesn't get in. Then I'd have them penetrate the HFS, where plenty of demons made out of snow and/or ice will surely come to chill them to the bone.

Probably the coolest dwarfs have ever had was when I embarked on a glacier with a aqua filer. I made them dig down and expose each layer to the air. I lost about 40 dwarfs (had to reclaim a lot before I managed to break all the way through with only a handful of survives.  So my dwarves were in a muddy pit filled with slush and the bones of the fallen. Then I realized the way out was collapsed and it took with it the only dwarf with a pickaxe.

Then the ghosts started haunting everyone.

I'm pretty sure they were plenty cold. So if I had to make some cool dwarfs I would do that again.

Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion would be cool.

I would hook up automated showers at every hallway intersection in the fortress, and brew nothing but ice and Gatorade.

As for a game, I wouldn't mind a copy of Diablo 3.

Well you just embark in a coldish area, and any dwarves who are frozen, if it was possible, you would simply cut out a block of ice around then, and bring them to your statue garden, the entire statue garden made up of frozen blocks of ice with dwarves in them.

Fill the meeting hall with 2/7 water and when they can swim well enough, let them swim in a pool in the second cavern layer.

Yup, it works too, but it's a bit messy as cool bears, despite being cool retain their bear properties, which mainly come down to tearing apart and munching on dwarves.
