Blinking Dwarves

My leader/recordkeeper/miner/clerk is blinking between purple and pink. Why is this happening?

Is he legendary in a skill?

hit v and g then find your dwarf.

That's normal, it's an indication that the dwarf in question has achieved Legendary status in at least one job (probably record keeping for that particular dwarf).  Legendary status means the dwarf has high stats in toughness, agility, and strength.

Legendary status means that the dwarf in question is legendary in a skill.
Skill is the prequiste no stats.

Ok, thanks. When I checked him, he had Legendary Miner, Legendary Record-Keeper and he was Ultra-Mighty... Pretty awesome, now that you think about it...

A miner that can tell you exactly how many times he hit the rock face with his pick, and exactly how many stones resulted from this.
