Quick raw file editing

Every time I download a fresh version of Dwarf Fortress, I have to spend 15 minutes editing the raws (e.g. to remove [AQUIFER], or change [PET_EXOTIC] to [PET]) and init files. Would there happen to be a utility I could use to automate the process? For init files, something like the Masterwork DF launcher comes to mind as an amazing example, but I'm not aware of any standalone tools to do that.

Tried moving the .exe and it complained about lack of a DF directory. Seems to have the same type of pre-packaged non-standalone init editor that Masterwork does.

Winmerge to find and keep the changes. As for mods, I have an idea to make a set of batch scripts which are used to gen world for any mod I could be playing with. Since df has command line options to wordlgen, batch should overwrite draws with desired mod, generate world, save and put default raws back.
