... you cause a cave-in to fall through the space occupied by an OPEN Drawbridge?

Is the Drawbridge still destroyed, even though it has already been raised or retracted out of the way?

I'm trying to design a reversible method of re-routing a lot of water.

The drawbridge still exists in the tiles that it lowers onto, and cave-ins shatter any buildings they pass through. A cave-in will destroy a raised drawbridge even if it passes through only the intangible parts of the bridge.
