Fey mood stuck.

One of my dwarves was taken by a fey mood but I don't have any workshops. Has this happened to anyone? What should I do?

This can be something of a sticky situation. From what I've heard, you'll need to build his workstation on top of him before he'll accept it. Look at his list of skills; the highest skill he has will be the one he's going to need. If he's a bone carver, make a craftsdwarf's shop. Mason, build a mason's workshop. Again, you'll need to build it right on top of him, otherwise he won't recognize it, since it wasn't there when he started his mood; that's a bit of a bug.

And if he's a legendary miner?

Yes! It worked! I had to try three different workshops but it worked! Thanks.

Yeah, as far as I'm aware, miner's won't mood; when you get a case like that, look for their second highest skill. Most clerical & social skills are the same way.

[Edit] Craftsdwarf's shop got converted? That doesn't happen very often, but it's not entirely unheard-of.

Looks like we'll have to revise that. He had done nothing but mine. Ever. It was his only skill and now I have a legendary magnetite bed. And he gained legendary mining. Which he already had.

I guess mining works for stoneworking too. Makes sense, it does.
