Shotgun-like behaviors in ranged weapons

Is it possible to make a ranged weapon fire multiple units of ammo?

I'm currently adding a bunch of weapons to the game. Does making a weapon a digging implement happen in the entity_default section?

[SKILL:MINING] makes it choice for digging, altho I have no idea how much
[DIGGER:ITEM_WEAPON_PICK] has for sway in the entity.

Just like how [SKILL:AXE] enables woodcutting

[SKILL:AXE] is all that's needed for woodcutting. Every weapon that uses the AXE skill can be used for woodcutting.

DIGGER:ITEM_WEAPON_PICK makes it a digging weapon. It gets slapped in the entity.

Whta about [SKILL:WOODCUTTING] for woodcutting?

My adamantine autoblade (chainsword) kept getting stuck in people, which makes sense, but it also had tendencies to just damage muscle, skin, and fat.

The bayonette on my rifle kept severing hands and feet, though it WAS adamantine.

up the contact area for eh brooms to weaken them

lower the contact area for the rifle stab Id suggest this:

Just a quick question, Slayerhero - Was it your intention to make it so your Rifle can be used one-handed as long as a creature is large enough to wield it?  I realize it's a little counterintuitive, and the [TWO_HANDED] token actually needs to have a higher value than the [MINIMUM_SIZE] token in order to have any effect, according to the Wiki.

I think that's due to you giving it the same velocity multiplier as a whip. For comparison, spears have a velocity of 1000 when stabbing.
