Computer problems

(1/1)

lemon10:
So, recently (for the past day or so), my computer has been having problems.
However, its not really new, as it has occured numerous times over the lifetime of this computer. (although very slightly different each time).

After reformatting the hard drive, the problem is fixed, at least for a few months, and it started coming back today.
The problem right now is that it freezes after being on for about ten minutes (freezing by program), and after that crashes and bluescreens giving a kernel inpage memory error.
I haven't had any recent software installed (most recent was a virus scanner a few weeks ago), and am current on my windows updates.

Here are the minidumps for the crashes.

I am using service pack 1 for Windows 7. I don't know what other information is needed to help diagnose the problem however.
Any help that anyone can give would be greatly appreciated.

G-Flex:
My first guess would be either faulty RAM or the hard drive is on its way out. A memtest86+ boot disk can help diagnose the former, and there are definitely similiar tools to perform the latter, although I can't think of any off the top of my head aside from "stuff that comes with most bootable Linux distributions".

foil:
Could you post the error messages for the bsod from "Event Viewer" as they are easier to diagnose than raw memory dumps.

lemon10:
Couldn't find the error messages in the event log (well I did find like a thousand different .

I did run checkdisk though, and it found some errors (and fixed them).
Seems to be working fine now, but it might start acting up again later, no way to tell.

Thanks for the help guys, locking this for now, since my problem is currently nonexistant.
