Roll to awaken - Chapter 0: Prologue

You awaken laying on a cold steel table. A pounding headache forces out all other thoughts as you sit up. Looking around the room, you see five others awakening. As you slide off the table, your legs shake under you. You notice an IV drip going into your wrist and yank the needle out, the bag is empty. You take a look around and see a white operating room, it is bathed in light but completely deserted. You realize that you don't know how you got here. All you remember is your name, and what you did for a living. At least, you think you remember.

Oh, that's no worry. I'm probably the most active user on the RTD subforums.

Only reason I'm not on, is if my internet is out. I usually check here 20-30 times per day, if not more.

Alright, two one more spot before this is full, but here comes some descriptions anyway.

Everything is white, except for a few splatters of blood on the tables. Your headache is fading, but a new pain dawnes. Looking down, you see on your arm a crisscross pattern of scars. It seems fresh, but the pain isn't too bad. There are tables of medical instruments around, as well as several computer monitors. Suddenly a computer generated voice echoes through the room. "Facility power at %6.23. Lights shutting down to conserve power. Please follow chemical lights" The lights go down, then strips along the walls activate, sheathing the room in red. You can still see, but not as well. "Facility still losing power, evacuation reccomended."
