Modding Dragons
« on: December 27, 2012, 09:55:25 pm »

Okay, my dragons are awesomely lethal, rather than kind of fragile like they normally are. I made them bigger and tougher, and changed their scales to iron and their teeth and claws to steel. Think the description of Smaug from the Hobbit.

“My armour is like tenfold shields, my teeth are swords, my claws spears, the shock of my tail a thunderbolt, my wings a hurricane, and my breath death!”

My actual question:
I want to give them a "Vulnerable Spot", also like Smaug, and I'm not sure how to do it. I get how to set the relative size, and how to make it fatal if hit (high vascular value and the MAJOR_ARTERIES tag), but not how to place it. Anyone know?

Make it a relatively small body part attached to the upper body called "belly". You can also use body detail plans to position BPs; there are examples in humanoid body detail plans (they both have the word "position", iirc)
