Summary of the summary: People are a problem.

And who would rule if nobody who wants to is allowed to?
Altruistic self-sacrificers.
The dude from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. You know the one, if you've read them.
I have read them but I have completely forgotten.
The dude who is unsure of everything and is uncertain that anything exists, who the leaders of the universe consult for what they should do.

OH THAT GUY.

+1 point for Xantalos.

There's another type of leader that leads well as well, and that is the selfish man who's self extends to his countrymen.

This doesn't neccessarily mean good things for neighboring countries, though. Empiricism, ahoy!

Not sure you mean "empiricism." Nationalism or ethnocentrism, perhaps?

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

So, it's settled then? We're going to genetically engineer the human race to be Tyranids?
