I decided to take a break from requests to draw a jackal in a headdress, I think it came out rather well.

That's really cool, I especially liked the detail in the ear and the shading.

Couldn't think of anything to draw so I thought of fluffy wamblers.

I think the jackal's second eye should be visible.

How about drawing a samurai kobold?

I'm sorry, I couldn't muster the energy to colour the samurai bold so he will have to stay colourless until a later day. If anyone feels like giving critique I would be welcome to receive it.

You would be right. I originally meant to put the eye on the part after the snout but I was having trouble figuring out where to place it.

I really like the pharaoh jackal! By the way, how is the day 5 picture progressing?

I'd also suggest putting all of the pictures in the first post. That way, it'll be much easier to find them later on.

It's getting finished, just not that fast, The incomplete version was well, very incomplete. I didn't put in the armor or the hands as I noticed when I was working on it today.

A lot of these images are not even visible for me...
What do you mean by that? They're too big/small? They don't show up?

If it's the latter then it's either a temporary problem with the image hosting server or you are using too much memory. If it's the former than I can fix it.

I'm having trouble with the feet on this...

One thing to know about photoshop is that most of the brushes have a heavy blur at the edges. It's not bad if you're mapping out rough colours, but you'll want to find a brush that has a more solid edge for finishing details. I personally use a diagonal brush near the bottom of the default brushes that has a pixel height of 63. If you can't find a brush that works for you just find a shape you like and play with the settings until it does something you want.

The dragon egg was pretty cool. I thought that the highlight really worked and made it appear 3-d. I also like how the colours merged together.

Your Day 11 drawing reminded me of the Lonely Mountain from The Hobbit. At least how I'd imagined it. It's kind of like Moria as well, I think. I can't give much advice, but messing around with Photoshop or whatever program can create some pretty cool things, and help you learn to better utilize the program.

Your day 12 drawing seems as though you're reprimanding yourself. I liked how the appendages were drawn, they seemed realistic. The back was also good, giving the appearance of overlapping layers. The eyes match the attitude I'm getting as well, slightly angry and annoyed.

Excellent work, keep it up.

I decided to mess with colour schemes today and opened up a couple days old sketch and coloured that.
