You'd think it would have, but apparently not. Shadowrun's not on the list of compatible games.

... anyway, chaos seed's great. That metal max one that got fantranz'd, too. Most of what's been unofficially translated is fairly solid, really... stuff tends to take entirely too much effort to do unless you like what you're converting quite a lot, heh.

Speaking of Enix, Just Breed on the NES was pretty great. Not enix, but so was chaos world. Ahead of their time, imo.

Meh, I'll just start a new post with the list for SNES.

Aerobiz Supersonic (there's not exactly a lot of airline sims out there)
Breath of Fire 2 (this list could have so many JRPGs on it)
Cannon Fodder (it's good killy fun)
The Chessmaster (if there's something that's replayabe, it's chess)
Civilisation (if there's something that's replayable, it's Civ :) )
Eye of the Beholder (because DnD isn't a JRPG)
FIFA 97 (some people like soccer)
Ghengis Khan II (it's like mini-EUIV, thus good. Really good. Can even AIvsAI for a screen saver. Best Koei thing ever, because a known world conquest is possible, and different unit types for different civs)
Hardball III (baseball is a thing)
The Humans (puzzle games last longer than action platformers)
Killer Instinct (Hyper-COMBO!!!)
Lemmings I/II (more, better puzzles)
The Lost Vikings (and even more)
Madden 97 (the snes did NFL pretty well)
MegaLoMania (really simple strategy)
Micromachines (top down racing hardness)
Might and Magic III (like EotB, with weirder stuff going on)
Mortal Kombat II (classic fighting)
NBA Live 9X (basketball is also a thing)
NHL 9X (so is ice hockey)
Nobunaga's Ambition (oh god, the menu system... But still good)
Operation Europe (more fiddly Koei stuff. This time in modern times)
Operation Thunderbolt (shoot all the things. Duckhunt with people)
Out of this World (Prince of Persia with lasers)
Pacific Theatre of Operations II (Koei WWII but on water with planes)
Parodius (trippy shootemup)
PGA Tour 96 (golf games are good on any system, regardless of redraw times)
Pinball Dreams/Fantasies (pinball IS replayable, surprisingly so)
Populous/II (OK, it's terrible to control, but it is a good game at heart)
Powermonger (see above)
Prince of Persia (puzzle platformer)
Rampart (slightly prettier than the NES one)
RoTK "x" (for when dynasty warriors is more your koei thing)
Sensible Soccer (probably better than FIFA)
Shadowrun (even without a mouse, it's OK)
Simcity 2000 (work every one of those 16bits way too hard)
SimEarth (because it's very different, and very difficult to understand WTF is going on)
The Chaos Engine (surprisingly replayable top-down shooter. Several character types)
Super Bowling (bowling games are easy, drinking competition fun)
Syndicate (someone said it WAS playable, so it's here because it's Syndicate)
TMNT4 (co-op beatemups are quite replayable)
A WWF game (some of these wrestlers only recently retired)
A couple of driving games.
Did Shadows Over Mystara exist on SNES?
Probably lots more.

So, there were a tonne of options available. More even than are on this list. All that would have added hours (or weeks in some cases) to the play value and thus buyability of the thing.

And this is why an emulator will always be superior to any trash released in the modern day.
