Breeding Dragons

(1/8) > >>

_Ivan_:
I've finally captured a pair of dragons one male and one female and after training and penning them the female ran straight to a nest and layed 3 eggs. The only problem is they dont seem to be hatching. I read in the wiki if it's 2 seasons they probably aren't fertilised. So should i dump the eggs and wait for another clutch?

Also, i went into raw/objects/creature_standart.txt and added [CHILD:1] to the dragon (both, the main one and the one in my region save as well). Is there more than just this to make the eggs hatch?

brainfreez:
i think its because of the dragons extreme size .

you must wait more time for bigger eggs to hatch .

Noobazzah:
Maybe the eggs have died? If the mother leaves the nest for too long, the eggs won't hacth. Also, the eggs can sometimes just die without any particular reasons. Wait for a year or so and if the eggs haven't hatched you can cook them and wait for the next clutch.

If the mother leaves the nest at all actually.

It's my recollection that hatching time has nothing to do with egg size...
