Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.

Quite possible you got infected with a syndrome that had a long incubation period.

Yup.

Interesting
I savescummed back to before i went into the city, then went to a friendly village and retired.
I wonder if there is any way i can kill him, without getting the syndrome, or getting rid of the syndrome somehow.
Also, i would like directions to a mod that would allow you to be immune to airborn dust and such by covering my mouth or something, if that exists.

I don't know, dude.
Did you get cursed by any chance? I've never experienced any drawbacks caused by getting cursed by a mummy, though it might not be the case here.

Does DFhack's "clean" command work in adventure mode?

I don't see why it shouldn't...

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

Maybe you can try to kill the clown with rabge weapons. Or become a vampire.

In a hole in the ground there lived a dwarf. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a dwarf fortress, and that means magma.
