Graphic issue

Hello everybody!
I have a minor problem, but I will like to know why this happens.
My newspapers looks like this:


Letters like Q, K, R, etc.... doesn't look right.

I have the same issue on others games like "Star Zoo" (in faces, etc.)

It must be something with curses, I dont know.

i was thinking that all bay12games needed a graphics card from a calculator .

Yeah, that happens to me too. You can change the font from the right click menu, but none of the ones I have work right. '¦' and 'Ì' are obviously supposed to be '▌' and '▐', or characters 221 and 222 from Code Page 437. Presumably my version of whatever ancient terminal emulator LCS runs in uses a different charmap that has dropped some support for box drawing characters in favor of some other characters, although I kind of wonder what '¦' could ever be needed for.
