That was kinda fun but I don't think I want to do it again.

Also, to whoever's next, I only got a few days done in Granite before this poor laptop couldn't take it.  The game day should be the 7th or 8th, as I recall.

Hahaha! I'll take this on tomorrow unless someone else wants to have a go sooner? I think I can repel those invaders. And if not, well, this is the fortress that just won't die it seems

Ahhh Moonstoneflower, Moonstoneflower, whatever shall we do with you.
As luck would have it, none of the invaders are actually inside the fortress yet. We might be able to wait it out.

Anyways, here we goes, starting off with an imperial stout.

Alright, I forbade the entrance hatch, closed the main entrance and restored the pit bridge. All cage traps have been activated. A few slipped past the entryway, but our stout axedorfs are ready to lay down their lifes.

That mad bone carver just died of thirst, stood next to their coffin. Efficiency!

I have a 'double NEIPA' now. No idea what that stands for. It looks like orange juice and tastes pretty smooth though.

I've dealt with a good number of invaders now... the remainder are chasing ravens around the map. Annoying.

Got all these goblins (actually most are dwarfs) trapped. Got to decide what to do with them now. Drowning? I could drain the swamps...

Alright, the siege is broken. Time for a DIPA to celebrate.

We're down to 15 dwarfs, 8 of whom are in the military. Might have to stand them down a bit. The fortress attracted no migrants this season.

Good grief the fortress is a mess now.

No matter what, the dorfs are refusing to clear the tavern area.

Speaking of taverns, Belgian ale time.

The villain has been eliminated. Unfortunately this caused a bit of a brawl in the tavern and now there are no guests left there.

The Keas are back and one has just stolen an artefact. This calls for a whisky.

I was just looking through my downloads folder and found a whole bunch of duplicate folders and failed zip attempts in there from my last turn lol.  The game that keeps giving :)

As an afterthought- the 'raiding' squad is shown as travelling still. If you look at the military equipment screen though, you can see they're all dead. So we are bugged, my friends. The drunk fortress can never die!

It was really badly scattered haha. I embarked with plenty of drinks though, and there were loads of lavish meals scattered about.

The fortress is kinda thriving at the moment, and the military are starting to enjoy candy. The last artefact made was an adamantine spear!

I'd like to suggest the next project for the fort- a grand combined throne room/tavern/temple/guild house deep down somewhere.

Of course, feel free to carry on with the old save instead if you like!

Welp, I was reading this for old times' sake, tripped, and played a year of the unreclaimed fort. We're still on 47.05 because Linux.

I made an atom smasher to try and keep the fps from dying, and also another quantum stockpile because I lost the first one. I also tried to place a prisoner cage in the memorial room. Thankfully that job failed to complete before I had the opportunity to endanger the fort.

I start. 10:40pm. I have had 4 and 1/3 standard drinks. All of them were whiskey.

I'm on a fun new volume-restricted diet, thanks to my chronic Problems disease.
So I'm doing shots instead pf fun drinks.

I tried smoothening out the various stockpiles but I gave up because it was
boring

Watcing the dorfs move thigs from the giant stockpiles to the minecar t is
rather soothing realy. Therapy for drunk nerds

I read this thread a while back and i think i might have done some drunk fortress before. Im making and trying a bunch of cocktails tomorrow so im just gonna download this and prep for tomorrow. Looks like you necro'ed the post. Although looks like OP is inactive.
