Age Change on embark?

When I embarked look at what I got:




Really now,
Really?

the only reason I kept this world was because it was at the age of myth :/

If you played a fort or an adventurer in this world before and killed some megabeasts the age will change.

Game must have dropped the embark wagon on a passing Megabeast and killed it.   :P

Hm. How old is that world? Did you check legends? Maybe your embark saved dwarfs from extinction and tipped the megabeast/civ balance enough for an age change. Don't know if that's possible though.

Maybe it has something to do with the seven starting dwarves becoming historical figures.
