Elves are not evil monsters.

They are horrific monstrosites from the depths of whatever can be called Hell in this world of superpowered sponges.

The Eerie Glowing Pits disintegrate material falling on them, and teleport it to a forest, where it materializes as elves?

No, hell is insufficient to explain the horror that is the Forests

Nonsense, they are indescribable. Only abominations incomphrensible to our feeble minds may percieve the forest as it truly is.

Hmm... if we would plant Finely Crafted rock mugs with tree seeds in them, would the trees grow to not create the abominations
that are Elves?  The trees might as well be stronger, and might even replace the Elven Trees.
If my theory is correct than we still have a chance to rid the world of the hellish menace of Elves.

The solution, of course, is magma.  on trees.

Well I assumed that since the Parasites react to Dwarven objects, why not the trees that spawned them?

Didn't Loud Whispers once make a syndrome in elf blood that turns the infected into an elf?

Yup, fun times indeed. But we shouldn't judge elves by what they appear to be trying to appear as. What if it's a double ruse, and elves are in fact the actual parasite, fooling the host (forest) and its competitors (humans 'n Dwarves) into accepting it as the sole guardian of vast swathes of feeding grounds?

They both conspire against us...
