Little question

So I've got this dwarf. He's in a fey mood, and he needs yarn. I don't have any- what I do have is 4 baby alpacas (3f1m). It's late spring, he's been in his mood about 3 weeks, the elven caravan came around and didn't have any yarn/wool/wool-producing critters. What can I do to remedy this situation?
