Title : Warden of the mountains.
Family name : Feanor Lindon.
Fief name : Gondolin.
Fief description : Gondolin is a hidden valley enclosed on 3 side's by mountains and a large stone wall is built across the remaining entrance with a very large and thick metal gate in the middle and guard towers studded along the wall. In the center of the valley there is a fortress built of solid stone it is only of medium sized and is now inhabited by the Almighty Guild of Knights. The valley is covered in small villages of wooden houses where the people live in peace and near the walls on the inside there is a large stone barracks and training grounds where Gondolins soldiers go to learn the art of war. The mountain's are in the middle of a large forest and a large river with several land bridges cuts off the forest and the mountains within from the outside apart from those few small land bridges. There is a small outlet from the river leading to a medium sized lake within the forest near the mountains and a path leading from inside the valley through the gate and down to the lake and then splitting off from the lake to the land bridge's.
( Is this to complicated or is it ok? )

Background : The residents of Gondolin are somewhat isolationist's, they have lived in there enclosed valley for many generations and in that time have become extremely skilled builders with rock , metal and wood. There only contact with the outside world is through trade and that is conducted around the lake. No outsider has ever stepped foot inside of Gondolin. There chief exports are metal , stone and wood but they also have some minor trade in fish caught in the lake. They trade very little metal there soldier's having high quality weapons and armor so they use most of the metal they mine from the mountains preparing equipment for battle if it should come to there home. They have a comparatively small army for the size of there population but make up for it with the superior quality of the weapons and armor that they posses. Led by Feanor who is the direct descendant of the first king of Gondolin his people are fiercely loyal to him and will fight to the death in defense of the land there forefathers built out of the mountain. Though they avoid contact with outsiders as much as possible Feanor knows the worth of strong and allies and honors hes word above all else no matter the cost.

Feanor is 6 ft 5 with long flaming red hair and cloudy gray eyes. He's powerfully built from a life time at work with hammer , axe and chisel and is one of he's people most accomplished builders. He is also an able fighter and skilled commander of men being very skilled at predicting he's enemies moves. The only weakness he's military has under him is a severe shortage of horses and so Gondolin can field none but scouts on horseback for war. The size of Gondolin's army is increasing rapidly at Feanor's order in preparation for war.

Feanor knows that the world beyond the river is changing and is preparing to lead he's men beyond the river for the first time in the history of he's people and take part in the war's between kingdoms in the defense of he's allies whether that will prove to be the making of he's people or there doom is yet to be seen.

So uh. As far as I am aware the point of 'the Feudalism game' is in fact the cooperatively made maps.

So uh. If you are the only one making the map, what else is there?

I thought there was some other point, but the games never got to it because people kept taking too long with the maps.

Uh. Nope. The first Feudalism game was great. Until the map was finished. Then we realized we had nothing left to do and quit.

Realize here, this did not start as a game as such. It started in a different thread, where the bay12 meme of "Aqizzar is the bay12 king" started a talk about the "Aristocracy of bay12". And people started claiming titles. Then one guy drew a fief for himself. Then it spiraled into what you see.

So what are your plans?

As a newcomer and someone with no idea what you're talking about, I think it would sound great!

Let's see what I remember...

Name: Conrad von Schliesen, Duke of East Westingtonshirehamburgvillegradistan

Fief: Duchy of East Westingtonshirehamburgvillegradistan

History: The von Schliesen family have risen to power over the years through marriage and conquest, and now they hold the Duchy of East Westingtonshirehamburgvillegradistan, as well as many other titles both high and low. While Conrad is the Patriarch he by no means experiences total support from the rest of his family, although they will generally support him against external threats. The expansionist nature of the family suggests that he will soon be looking to expand into neighbouring territories via the bridal ring or the sword; whichever works better.

TL;DR I've ripped off the Habsburg family.

Title: Slaver's of the Sea
Family name: Haigwaa
Feif name/description: Jolanti
Jolanti is a mid size Island about a day's travel from boat off the coast. The island is lush with forest and whatever land isn't covered in trees is so in farms. There is a main Castle right in the center of the Island.
Background: The Haigwaa are a self sustaining class based society who's main source of food is fish, as well as the crops farmed. These farms are tended by the Haigwaa's lowest class, it's slaves. Being so far from land the Haigwaa can usually see any assualt coming LONG before it reaches land, and as such have lived with little fear of being attacked. This has lead them to thrive off of attacking coastal villages and taking slaves from their victories.

Title: Prince-Elector
Family Name: Bachwel
Fief Name: Fufgraf
Fief Description: Fufgraf is a land-locked, mountainous territory, famous for its iron mines. Most of the province is covered in thick forests, and what little farmland there is is poor. However the province itself is rich, for its mines and forests supply enough iron and charcoal to support a booming metal-working industry. Most of the money from these industries finds its way into the coffers of the Bachwel family, which uses the money to build mighty castles, magnificent cathedrals, and lavious palaces.

The life-blood of Fufgraf is the Ter River, which forms the major artery of trade and travel in the province. Knowing how important the Ter River is, a series of castles have been built on its banks, thus protecting the river from pirates and taking tolls from the merchants who ply the river. While very few of these castles are fully staffed, in times of emergency they are occupied by a large force of trustworthy mercenaries, local militia and foot-soldiers of the local knights.

Despite its size and wealth Fufgraf only has two major cities, Mosal and Narche, both of which lie on the river Ter. Fufgraf also has several small and nondescript towns.

Narche is the larger and more industrial of the two towns, and during the daytime its streets resound with the clangs of hammers. Narche has three major points of interest: The dockyards, the Ironworkers' district, and the Citadel Weilf. The dockyards occupy most of the riverfront in the city, and the piers are choked with ships in all hours of the day. Massive granaries and warehouses abut the piers, and man-powered cranes work day and night to load and unload cargo. The market next to the docks contain all manner of merchants and goods, both from nearby and from afar. The Ironworkers' district of Narche is the source of much of its prosperity. The district occupies a long slice of land along the walls of the city, and thus has access to wagons of ore from the mountains and the piers of the dockyards to sell its iron goods. The Ironworkers' district is situation downwind from the rest of the city, because its innumerable coal-fires belch smog into the air. The city's walls are large and strong, and the lynch pin of its entire defence is the Citadel Welif. Located on a rocky outcropping, the Citadel commands the skyline over the city. The Citadel has never been taken in recorded history, and legends state that if the Citadel were to fall the Kingdom/Empire/Whatever is doomed.

Mosal is smaller than Narche, and contains the Bachwel Spring Palace. The city's Ironworkers' district is smaller than Narche's, and creates mostly ornamental tools and decorations. The presence of the royal mint in Mosal means that the city has a large Goldworkers' and Silverworkers' district. While of not particularly good quality, the goldwork of Mosal are bought far and wide, due to the large network of merchants dedicated to selling Fufgraf's iron goods. The city is controlled in all but name by the Prince-Elector, since the city's council is stuck in a dead-lock between the Ironworkers and the Gold and Silverworkers.

The Bachwal family has always been a strong supporter of the King/Emperor/Whatever, and the current Prince-Elector Herman is no exception.

Can i re-use this one?  ;)

House
Name: The House of Shadowkeeper
Leader: Gorlok Stoneholder
Territory: Ragoth, Center of Stone, a city in the center of the harsh, cold, rocky mountains in the East.

Ragoth is a very old city, build by an old civilization and then abandoned. Fugitives and other people eventually found there home there. From these people a leader rised, named: Milon Stoneholder. This, of course, drew the attention of <insert kingdom's name>. And the people knew they would lose a war, so they quicly surrenderd to <    >. But after a small inspection of the city by the new rulers, they quicly forgot about the little city, and left it in peace. But the people didn't forget it. Oh no, they want to be free and from that moment, they where trained as warriors ( Sparta style ), so they would never have to see another surrender. And from that suffering, a religion formed, where they worshipped Solon, god of pain and shadow. And now, after Milon's funeral, his son, Gorlok, takes charge over the city.

Gorlok Stoneholder: He grew up in a stone city and is used
to climbing and living in harsh conditions. His father trained him in the art of archery and swordfighting.
His training as soldier has made him hard and strong, and his training of his father to one day become the leader of the city , made him wise and patient.

Solon: Powerful God who is worshipped by the people of Ragoth, Center of Stone.
He's cruel but helps his servant bear the pain.
