At this point. accusing Dirg and GWG is pretty much as good as any other guess. There are MILLIONS of white-haired southerners. It's practically a stereotype in movies and stuff.

There aren't many famous ones. I googled White Haired Southerner, Southern Accent, and the like, and the first that came up was Paula Dean. After that, there were a couple news reports, and lessons on how to talk with a southern accent.
