Well you could buy slade on embark and make the heaviest stone-traps there is (and buy more each caravan, though don't expect it to be fast  ), you might be able to dig some of it out (slade that is) if you don't use reveal or anything, build a tall (probably doesn't have to be very tall) tower, dump the stone on a spot, deconstruct all the floors below that tile, and lock someone in to deconstruct the floor in the event of a FB or something. Other than that, not sure

Haven't thought of that... though wonder how badly everything would be messed up if i made the duplicate the first entry in the raws (I am imagining everything would be beyond recognizable )
Slade was available on embark, but not within the map, but something else amusing happened

No. Duplication of the raws occured, then DF went mad and started tossin rock at a paint board. Thats what happens if you dupe raws. Shit occurs. Reality warping shit that would make a acid trip seem logical.

I still don't get some of the photos... Am I just that bad at DF that I don't get it? Or am I just too stupid to get it?

No, you'd need to switch a couple of tags for that.

Well isn't that what should have happened for slade? (available on embark...), though we will see if it still does crazy things (such as make it available on embark as it did for slade, which still couldn't be dug through by the way). And I will be able to see if its really something else at play (what could make slade appear in the overworld and clay take its place as the stone of hell?). If anything this is just for seeing what other craziness I can cause with just one duplicate

Hell is slade again, and adamantine is still what makes the tubes.

Keep in mmind there are unpredictable results. The next goblin horde could easily be composed of flying boiling leather, and th dragon that shows up may just explode.

... or a kobold thief stealthily laying deadly dust all over your fort.

Its more like, when you have a test, and yo bubble in the answer on the wrong line, and everything after is wrong. But the test determines how the entire universe works.
