'Inkedcarnage' Engravers commune (succession)
« on: October 08, 2012, 09:44:04 pm »

So, I had this idea, not sure if its been done before but anyways... If a few people are interested then Ill start this:

It's a normal succession fortress, each overseer has a year per turn etc. The difference is that the overseer has to do at least 1 drawing of something that happened during their turn. You can also post the usual screenshots and text reports of what is happening (like in a normal succession game). You can do as many extra drawings as you like. Any drawing style is allowed. Draw an event, a combat report, a dwarf, a bunny, a forgotten beast, a statue, anything you like, as long as it is something that happened during your turn.

If you are not so good at drawing thats fine, any skill level is welcome as long as you try!

tl;dr- succession fort where we draw stuff

Are crappy MS-Paint doodles by someone who is by no means an artist acceptable?

I would join in on this fortress, but alas, I've too little time nowadays to make a turn happen in a succession game.

I want to join in, but eh, I never even handled gobbo siege before.
But as far as I know I'm quite good at making dwarves ecstatic.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dwarves, for they are drunken and quick to anger.

Urist McDwarf has given birth to Scruffy. All craftdwarfship is of the finest quality. It is adorned with dwarf leather and dwarf beard. This dwarf menaces with spikes of dwarf nail. On the dwarf is an image of dwarves in kitten bone. The dwarves are laboring. The artwork relates to the birth of Scruffy.

Scruffy cancels Post reply: Too insane.

I do vectors, so my arts may be at least... What's the word for understandable again?

Also I'm confirming I'm in, and I also request to "have my presence acknowledged" by all overseers as the Book of Oracle, probably in the expedition leader's possession.

If you guys will take dorfings, I'll take any dwarf.  I might also pitch in a few engravings of my own for the fortress, at least once I get some details of the whole expedition.  (From none other than the overseers themselves.)

I would like a turn.  Drawing will probally be bad, but I'll try to find a way to play it out.
