So, this server is shared between Dwarf Fortress, and Block-something-lame.  Two different forum communities.  The dwarves have struck copper.  The elves are piddling with stones.

We'll probably annex their base eventually.  Well, part of it.  We'll annex their stockpiles.

Alright, installed the mod and built myself a little shack out of logs. Any ideas on what to seek next?

Also this is a bit of a small island, so we really need to work together and not kill the livestock.

 Animals are sorta buggy and don't work right. Best horde all the chickens you can, their eggs are the most sustainable food source at the moment.

Cook them like meat. Apparently you magically crack them and produce an invisible frying pan, because they always end up sunny side up.

When you get right down to it, that's all a frying pan really is too.  A flat rock.  In fact the majority of things in the modern world can be simplified to that point.  How do you think the dwarves build whole workshops from a single stone?  They understand this truth.  A hammer, quenching barrel, and furnace are just variations of flat stones, therefor a flat stone is a furnace.

Nice to know that there is a Thief in the Server. All the Copper we had gathered is gone...

Each Kiln uses 3 dirt to seal, works well and easy to reload and light.
Later the Room will be Mirrored to allow for 4 Kilns going at once. But next is the Metal Workshop...
