As per Necrothreat tradition, everything's always quiet in the first year, external threats-related. I don't know about you folks, but I can feel the calm before the storm.

I think the crundles are our biggest concern right now. We got a small task force in training, a Fallout vault style gateway, and our corpse pile is buried deep inside the fortress. We also got smelters and forges in the making, and we're in pretty good condition.

Well... For the first year, its good...

So I've started training with one they call "Fabulous Death Bringer".  It's a pretty cool handle, and I'm going to pay attention and try to quickly become worthy to be called a "bringer of death" as our new squad says.

Opal, 125
I just built the greatest table evar!  The edges are all covered in leather, as well as the first few inches of the table top.  It is super comfortable to sit at because my elbows are resting on the leather as I eat or play cards.  With so few luxories right now I think everyone else will want to hang out at it too!  "Immortality Save" sounded like a good name at the time; it may not make us immortal but the leather will really soften the blow if someone trips and falls onto it.  It also reminds me of video games for some reason.

They say a vote is coming up soon.  I like NAV's drinks, maybe that's a good enough reason?  But maybe it would be best to have someone who isn't training half the year...

Well, NAV is known for really good posts but he DOES take awhile to do it.

Last post I remember him doing in Necrothreat I involved a giant spider invading the fortress and how NAV planned to... I can't remember his intent was to kill it or capture it, but it was the plan to do SOMETHING to it
