8th Limestone:
Opeya the forgotten beast managed to kill a single forumite. The woodcutter Tosid managed to get in a few good hits with his axe before Opeya wrestled him to the ground and stomped on his head. Then the militia arrived and managed to slowly chip away at it without suffering more than a few bruises. Lemonpie struck the final blow, splitting it in half with a spear thrust.
11th Limestone:
A woodcutter went into a possessed mood. She took a chunk of obsidian to a craftdwarf workshop then started demanding cut gems. I had to quickly order a workshop set up and some amethyst cut. Udil finished collecting her supplies and she's now working on the artifact.
18th Limestone:
A Forumite caravan from the mountainhomes has arrived. According to the proxxy absolutely nothing of note has happened in the outside world this past year. Oh, and the value of fish has really gone up.
OKAY WHOS SMART IDEA WAS IT TO SET THE TRADE DEPOT ON FIRE AGAIN?
20th Limestone:
Udil finished her artifact. Another useless trinket.
Most of the merchants and one of our less important forumites burned to death in the fire.
14th Opal:
Another useless artifact.
The adamantine mine runs 17 levels deep and shows no signs of stopping. We have enough to equip an army.
18th Opal:
A magma crab attacked. It was no match for our war doges.
7th Obsidian:
The forumites spotted another forgotten beast. It quickly fled back into the darkness.
13th Obsidian:
My year as overseer is almost done, might as well party.
