Did we ever figure out why Necrothreat spontaniouslly combusts?
I think it had to do with some sort of flammable projectile we have causing the caravans to set fire when its unloaded into the depot.

I was referring to necrothreat II where the fields at like 3 times during my two turns just burned everything

I don't really understand the massive amount of elf hate on these forums.

I regard elves as I would the spider in the corner. He doesn't bother me, and does me a small service catching insects. But if he does, I will brush him aside like the insect he is. Same with elves. I buy the animals they bring and give them some bone crafts in return. But if they start pestering me with tree caps or suchlike, then they get the axe.

By the way, elven diplomats are back in 0.42.

Well in that elfs defense he lives underground and eats mushrooms in the world hes from

Way more dwarfy then elvish

Like Cacame

If Cacame had a demon skull
And was prone to spontanious combustion

And trust me in that world dwarves acted more like elves
 -_- disgraceful
All druidry and shaving. No beards and drinking.

Part of my non-hatred of elves probably comes from Yonali Smithwings, in my sig. She embodied everything good about elves in my eyes. Cunning, fearlessness, and sheer numbers. Her army outnumbered her enemies' by at least 2 to 1 every battle. And on top of that, she managed to exterminate the dwarves in her world. Not anyone can do that.

Elves are alright. Their treeshaping is actually really rad and they trade cool war animals. They are extremely overrated in fantasy in general though.

I prefer Dwarf Fortress elves to most fantasy elves. Mainly because they eat their fallen enemies, and that is metal as fuck.

I always hated elves, regardless of lore.

They're always stuck up, even in Norse lore where they first came from, and they always shat on dwarves for their craftsmanship. Then there's like a hundred kinds of elves from dark elves, sylvan elves, etc. that it just seems over-elfed.

Too many elves. Gotta kill them all ;D

I actually like fantasy elves in some settings and not DF elves. Something about them not letting me cut all the wood I want to fuel my industrial passion for power I imagine.  :P
