A husk is an immortal slaughter machine of death that need their head chopped off or be lopped unto two to be killed. Or just to be stopped, really :D

Really, visit evil biomes, some of them might have husking fogs if you're lucky. If not, you'll know!

Bear in mind though, that you'll likely get ripped apart by zombie dingoes long before you're fortunate to get turned into DF's equivalent of the Hulk

I've seen a couple reports about husk adventurers. It's just pretty hard to find the right place and to get there. That or they used some kind of reaction that causes a mimic syndrome.

Seeing as you have to check Evil areas, the chance of finding the Husk Gas and surviving are low... Knowing my luck, the second I stepped on an Evil Biome a 'bleed from all your orifices gas' would kill my adventurer.

Husk adventurer reporting inn; got zombied by accident in the first evil bio I entered.

My brain is broken, all my fat is missing and my organs and bones are burned. Still kicking.
Real slow, but really strong.

Necromancers and the undead like me, town people, dwarves and goblins hate me.

This. Becoming a husk gives you the 'opposed to life' tag, making every living creature hostile towards you. So that means no more quests for you. You might enjoy killing everything in the world instead though. ;)

Note: Husks can also swim in magma. Immortality at its finest.

You can always try making a fortress in the area and testing the fogs out in fort mode.

It happened to me my accident when I was on a trog-killing quest. Entered a forest to fight wolf random encounter saw what seemed like a cloud or a wave and boom! Husk. Then I accidentally spread it to a human village and when my next adventurer went at it, the whole village was husks out to kill me.

So could husked humans provide all the normal services like shops and quests to the husked adventurer?
