Ethic tag brainstorming thread???

I guess just put ethics you want to see be a thing in here.
such as

ETHIC:POLYGAMY (I guess if'd be apalling for default. Such a tag would be set to ACCEPTABLE for snake-people races, I'd imagine)
ETHIC:USE_WEAPONS (for proud warrior races who feel it beneath them to use weapons)
ETHIC:GLUTTONY (It's considered unethical to eat more than you need)
ETHIC:CELIBACY (Reproduction is important, y'all!)

so yeah I guess most of these would be, for all the default races at least, set to acceptable. Maybe we could have ETHIC:X:RUDE for gluttony :3

I dont think you can, unless you mean make it so that dwarves are fine with eating sentient creatures which yeah, you can totally do.

Proud warrior races which don't use weapons will get slaughtered by their brethren who do. Natural selection and all.

Still could be interesting to see. Elves only carry weapons if they're sanctioned, humans punish people lightly for carrying arms in public, it's suspicious for goblins to not have weapons, etc.

Sauyans with armor and weapons would slaughter unarmed, unarmoured Saiyans. Just like RL humans with bows and stone tools and leather armor defeated naked, unarmed humans and were defeated by humans using armor.

ETHIC:MIGHT_MAKES_RIGHT
Basically, it's the ethic which decides whether a race elects leaders based on pure strength, or based on other factors.
You could probably find a better name for it, though.

ETHIC:WITCHCRAFT
Having this set to ACCEPTABLE would make a society where things like Necromancers are considered fine, whilst setting it to UNTHINKABLE would make them think of such as horrible.

Having WITCHCRAFT as ACCEPTABLE shouldn't make a society ignore crimes done to do the wizardry, though. Animating corpses? Fine. Making new ones? Not.
