I was using stumbleupon and it brought me to this:

So naturally I googled Dwarf Fortress. I mean, who wouldn't? That's when I saw both this:

And then I found Boatmurdered when looking for gameplay stuff. Needless to say, since I had hit the quadfecta (that is a word now), here I am today.

Also, it wasn't until now that I noticed the throne was menacing with spikes. Probably of microcline.

In 2010 I played alot of Wurm online, but i started to run out of options, so i started to ask around if some wurm players knew a more complex game. Someone pointed me to DF, this is a game where im still learning.

How did I find DF?
What brought me to DF, more like, is what I'm gonna say.

2012 I started DF when I got bored, after I heard about it.
2012 I heard about DF when I heard "... is similiar to Dwarf Fortress" on one of Paulsoaresjr's Towns videos.
2011 I found Towns when I was bored, looking through Paulsoaresjr's videos.
2011 I used to watch Paul's vids because he was a great tutorialist (is that a word?) for MineCraft.
2011 I started MineCraft when I was bored, after I heard about it.
2011 I heard about MineCraft when I was playing Roblox, a game with REALLY crappy community.
2008 I started playing Roblox after I saw it through an advertisement.
2006 (?) I saw the advertisement when I was playing Club Penguin.
2006 (?) I started Club Penguin due to popularity and the fact that most of the people I knew playing it played Poptropica.
2005 (?) I don't know when I started playing Poptropica, but that was after I came to Canada.
2004 I came to Canada four years after I was born.
2000 I was born.
1999 My parents... did what was needed for human reproduction.

I first found the game 2-3 years ago, when I was getting into ASCII rouge-likes. I didn't understand anything about the game, so I tossed it aside. About a year later, I heard more and more about it, until I decided to try it again, this time looking at some proper documentation. I'm still haven't fully learned the game, but I can save my drunken midgets from alligator turtle mauling now.
