I AM TERRIBLE WITH DEADLINES.
So, not much has been happening. The game has been on an intermittent hiatus for various reasons, which is why this is probably fairly sloppy- most of it happened a week or more ago.
One of the players is dedicated to Flux, and ever since I told him you can say up to five spells in a turn, he's been putting all the points he gets into channeling. I'll call him Shotgun James, because that's his name. Why have I been using nicknames? James has been adventuring with a Scarlon person named Zoomet who's collecting monsters- right now he has a storm rok and chrome hopper.
Anyways, those two were heading down the mountain path, and met a flock of storm crows and a cloud shepard. Immediately, Zoomet ran away leaving James and the minions to fight monsters.
James tried to throw rocks at the elemental for whatever reason, and pitifully failed because he's a mage with weak noodle arms. Zoomet's rok killed it though.
Next, James decides to spam the "dust" word at the crows, which are attacking Zoomet's chrome hopper. None of his rolls are below five, so he pretty much disintegrates both monsters. The rok interprets that as an attack on an ally, so it shoots him with lightning. James survives ever so barely, and runs back to the temple.
Meanwhile, Zoomet was up at the temple, attempting to assassinate JP (The guy with antimatter control) with blackholes. He succeeds, but kills himself too.
Hmm. Before he died, JP's pitchfork had summoned a "Strong Plant Lizard", which survived the blackhole, and went into the hallway. Next turn, a newbie runs out into the hall and got tore in half by it. Now it's fighting Solarguy, a Scarlon follower, and James. Everybody is sort of just failing to hurt anyone else.
Back to the spawnroom. So, after Garren's corpse re-killed itself, Solarguy mind-wiped the life-giving ptesladactyl. So it's now sitting in a corner of the spawnroom, and anyone or anything that touches it will get a new form and a new mind. I like that it's just sitting there, waiting for some shmuck to touch it.
After that, the guy with Lovecraft control, Mocha, ran up there and tried to kill the GIANT BEAR MADE OUT OF SOLID GOLD. Because he wanted to use the diamond goat it was trying to kill as a mount.
He actually was doing pretty well, until he got a [Pot:1] when he said "Fire". He lost both feet, and the fight went downhill from there.
But the Follower of Parathun, Gliderman, decided to try and save him! He charged in, and started spraying acid from his eyes at the bear. And then he found out acid isn't a good weapon against solid gold. The bear knocked him down and popped him like a grape.
The bear went back to attacking Mocha, and he was saved again by Gliderman the next turn when he respawned.
Bleh. Not in a writing mood, but said I'd write something several days ago...
