Terrible timing, but I just had two ideas and if I don't share them I'll forget:

1. add a UI prompt to the workshop 'q' menu, so people naturally realise that Workflow exists (eg [w: workflow]).  Would hopefully deal with some more UI complaints.

2. I still have some problems accessing the stocks screen:
Code: (dfhack.init) [Select]
# Stocks plugin
keybinding add Ctrl-Shift-Z@dwarfmode/Default "stocks show"
# Starter Pack bonus:  just double-tap 'z'
keybinding add Z@overallstatus "stocks show"[/code
The latter now works (hurray!) but the former doesn't.

Is there a way to change the format of the date?

I'm totally convinced dwarven babies are born with beards. How those get braided, combed or shaved before birth is one of the arcane dwarven mysteries.

No, sorry, not without changing the source and recompiling the plugin.

Would the mouse plugin allow me to, for instance, click on the designtations entry in the sidebar in game and have the designation menu pop up? Or is it only for stuff off that menu?

No, it doesn't make menus clickable. You can however click opposite corners to designate a rectangle.

(Falconne, we'd all love clickable menus. Imagine the combination with the stonesense overlay!)

No thanks. I like not having to move my mouse back and forth constantly.

Wouldnt matter to you, you can simply not use it. Giving the option of clickable menus doesnt remove the option of hotkeyed menus. There would be no downside of adding this option.

I noticed when viewing [k] quantum stockpiles, no search option is available.  [I mean, it would be totally awesome] Any way if this can happen?!

Yes.
Designate 1x1 custom stockpile on top of your quantum stockpile, enable all except refuse, 'q' -> 'i' -> search your quantum stockpile

Quick question, do you plan on adding any new features with the 40.0x version?  just curious.

Nothing planned at the moment, I've been busy with other projects. At some point I need to update the DFHack Readme with some documentation for my plugins but that's about it.

Not too sure where I should direct this question/request...

Would it be possible in the next update to add a search function to the "Assign animal to chain" window for the search plugin?

(I love your plugins! Makes Dwarf Fortress so much nicer).

good to see your plugins in 40_08

not sure if I'm in an oldie moldie thread or not...

but

I noticed I accidentally hit like ctrl-s or something and brought up a "custom reactions" menu... however... I can't seem to bring it up again.

Can you please confirm or deny this great feature's existence or not and how I may access it again?
