The Never-Ending Dungeon

   Maseau strides into Urak's Guds, where some of the other party members are. He simply approaches the counter, disregarding the other party members inside the shop and instead looking up at the large barrel-chested ogre.
 "I desire a new wand." the slime wizard states before the ogre nods and rummages under the desk. He pulls out a foot-long rod of wood with a twisted end.
 "Is good wand. 12 inch with elm coat and Phoenix iron core." he states.
 "How much?" Maseau asks inquisitively.
 "200 gold coin." the ogre states to Maseau's displeasure.

While Maseau attempts to barter with Urak without success, M'ber leans over the glass case to examine the glowing sword. Urak the shopkeeper stops bickering with Maseau and turns to M'ber.
 "Is ancient ogre artifact, doubly powerful. Made out of magic metal which morphs itself to user's desire." the ogre explains. This reminds you of Dan Straight's hammers, which he can manipulate to his complete will.

====

"Come scamps, lets see if there is an instruction manual, and if so then see if there is something we can use to catch fish." Thingy says with eyes towards Scamps the talking cat. Scamps simply smiles, his orange mouth baring his sharp teeth. Scamps and Thingy stride into the command room, where Thingy pulls out an old and dusty instruction manual from a metal drawer. The manual gives information about general control and fail safe. If there is a leak, use the advanced repair cube to redirect fluid flow. For hull damage, manual repair is required. The ship has a lot of room for upgrades as well. Meanwhile, while reading the manual over, Skhasha has been staring at the global map for a good fifteen minutes. She shakes her head and switches the map off before scuttling out of the ship, over to the entrance where Dirus is.
   Dirus is seen leaning against the metal wall of the ship's entrance, looking towards his right, where Dan and the Red Mage are leaning against the same wall. They seem to be talking. Morina simply leans against the other side of the room, next to the entrance. She appears to be holding a magazine labeled 'Caster's Quarterly' in her hands, clearly engaged deeply in reading it.
 "To be honest, I don't think I'll be staying here much longer. Me and Dan have things to get done." the Red Mage admits, turned towards Dan and Dirus.
 "I know right? Things have been getting more and more dangerous. Sometimes I just feel excluded and useless." Dirus says with a sigh.
 "Yes." Dan simply says in agreement.
 "Say, where's Gordan?" Dirus questions, turning his head around.
 "And my damned hat too." the Red Mage adds, his unkept brown hair brushing along his fingers as he runs his hand along it.

 "Wait, I forgot I had a summoning charm put on it." the Red Mage simply balls his fists and raises it;
 "Accio hat!" the Red Mage shouts, causing the velvety hat laid on top of Skhasha to lift and zoom towards the Red Mage, whom swiftly grabs it and places it upon his own head.
 "When you get charm?" Dan asks.
 "Got it from Fuffy Hallow while we were back there." the Red Mage explains, disregarding Skhasha. This is when she scuttles towards Dirus, her hand glowing a passive green -- it's ready to heal.

"I'm here to heal you, buddy!" she says with glee before forcing her spidery claws onto him, to Dirus's extreme displeasure. Morina clenches her fists into her magazine before lowering it and looking up to Skhasa.

 "Can't you see he doesn't like you?" Morina says with a grimace stained onto her face.

  Rillsim wanders throughout the ship's bunks, his robes sodden and scratched. He raises his hands and a heavenly light envelopes it, healing himself to full health. He then begins to wander throughout the ship, searching and rummaging throughout random boxes and barrels. While the ship itself has been pimped out, it's old furniture still remains. He pulls out a small leater-covered book labeled 'Johan Family'. Upon opening, a large picture of Cpt. Johan is glued, covering the entire page. He appears to have that same lolipop still stuck in his hair, donned in an old pair of roller skates. This would bring a sad realization to anybody else reading it -- nobody gave Cpt. Johan's roller skates to his brother, Cpt. Karmac. His will has not been fully fulfilled. His burnt ashes have not been scattered at the very place the adventure started -- the cave at the beginning -- the beginning of it all, where they fought local wildlife so valiantly and braved the reaper with extreme prejudice. Then from there the small party went to the ‼××Very Menacing Tower of Death and Fun××‼, where the blew the whole thing up because of one scroll, left to fall to death from the flying chaos and debris of the falling tower. That was when Cpt. Johan so bravely skated forth, and caught the entire party with his bare hands, saving all of their lives. And for what thanks? While it may not have been realized -- Captain Johan played a truly important role in this party's early years, having a good time up until the day he died -- when Occult the evil necromancer killed him without honor. His will, the one favor he asked of the party, has not been fulfilled even when the opportunity came. His name was to be forgotten as his party simply took use of his ship without memory of whom it originally belonged to -- good old, hearty, pure-of-heart Captain Johan.

Of course Rillsim would have no idea -- if he was anybody else, he would simply toss it and continue searching through Cpt. Johan's stuff. But no, he continues to stare at his photo. He may have no idea who that man with the lolipop in his smooth, curly hair is -- but he still knows it's sentimental value. The priest flips through the pages, with the next showing a black and white photo of a tall large-busted lady with long, curly hair next to a muscular man bearing a large handlebar mustache. Next to the tall man is a young boy with roller skates and old rags donned. Next to the boy, sitting on the ground by his mother has long, greasy hair which goes down to the top of his neck -- Cpt. Johan's brother, Kormac. To this day, he still believes that his brother is healthy and well, adventuring with the party to this day. Rillsim continues to stare at it before he places it back in it's original position behind a pile of clothing and other assortments of junk.

The day has been rowdy -- yet night is now falling as it is 7:00 PM. Shopkeepers -- save for Urak, head home to rest after a weary day of work and so do other folk. A cold silence fills the fish market, the waves are calm and not a single bird is in the sky -- the ordinary night of the fishing market. People sleep in peace, unaware of what's going on outside. But what they do not realize is that with strong souls come evil ones, ferocious to the bone and ready to pounce to achieve power in their missions of greed.
And there are 11 strong souls in the market right now.

A twig snaps. The bushes rustle. Something is out and about, causing trouble. The neighs of a horse are heard throughout the cold night, followed by sounds of reigns whipping and cracking. A fowl aura fills the air -- an evil aura. A loud yell is heard in the distance -- the yell of a deep voice filled with malice and intent to dominate and win.
 "I charge you to obey!" the voice calls out. A fell roar follows as sounds of twigs breaking rings throughout the air. A loud 'clunk!' is heard as screams follow. A man donned in armor is seen flying throughout the sky, screaming in terror as roars follow. Roars of uncontrollable anger -- roars of pure, undying rage. The man flings his arms upwards, and a huge pile of earth erupts from the ground to cushion the armored man. His sight is more detailed now -- dark armor with a helmet, bordered with a silver-like metal pulsating with magical power. A set of red eyes glow within the eyeholes of the helmet. He clenches his fist in a fit of rage and bellows out a command;

 "Unum te malum!" the man incants as he raises his fist. A large beam of dark energy fires from his fists and into the sky above -- clouds begin to condense together as dark purple streaks of lighting strike down upon this one man's fist. Pure evil fills the air -- a feeling of a mixture of fear, malice, and sadness... Figures of dark specters begin to fill the sky, leaving behind a dark purple trail as they hover through the air above the man. A single specter is surrounded by a bright blue light, before suddenly jetting towards the S.S Blazer in a trail of silver mist. Suddenly, a bright light envelopes the whole market for a moment in time -- an aura of pure good emanates from the light for a moment's notice, leaving every hero in the party short of breath.

 "What the hell is going on!?" the Red Mage bellows out in the chaos. Suddenly, dark energies begin to fill the ship's entrance -- a dark purple mist drifts inside and congeals, strikes of dark purple energy arcing from it. The cloud explodes, leaving behind the specter that was seen flying towards the ship in a silver trail. The specter slowly takes a more defined shape, molding into the figure of a welder.

   What appears to have happened, is that the man summoned all the dark specters to his command in order to complete some act of unforgivable evil. But, when another entity of pure good intervened -- that one specter was removed from the man's command, set to act on it's own free will. Alongside that, the flash of light appears to have given each party member a special ability. Some feel a strong connection to souls -- some feel stronger and braver, while others experience intellect that matches no other.

  While shouts come from the ship, roars fill the market as a large, green beast is seen sprinting out of the woods -- a large iron sword in it's hand as it makes way towards the ship. It seems that this Orc was angered by the man whom summoned the spirits, and was sent in a fit of rage. It now seeks to go to the one place a ghostly figure was seen darting to -- the ship.

"And how much is it?"

"Priceless. Belonged to father," Urak says. "But Urak has more magic weapons for sale." he continues as he leans under his desk and throws some of the weapons onto the floor, completely disregarding the evil aura spreading throughout the market and the dark wraiths and specters flying throughout. On the table is a ☼►Scimitar of Light's High◄☼, it's curved blade shines and appears luminous. The hilt is wrapped in leather and detailed in high design, it has a detailed drawing of the sun etched onto it's blade. It pulses with magic energy relating to fire and light, but from this the effects of it cannot be determined.

 "What is this?" B'mer asks as he gazes at the scimitar's glowing bright blade.
 "Bought while exploring sun temple north of here. Urak have no idea what it do, but it 200 gold pieces." the large grey-skinned ogre explains. M'ber lets out a sigh as he reaches around in his pockets -- he doesn't have any money.

 "Urak accept trade though."

Rillsim tries to find M'ber, the image of the Cpt. Johan seared into his mind. And it was also in his pocket. After deciding what to do, he had taken it back out from where it was and set off to try and see who the person on it was...
