I have several dingos on the map. How can I prevent hunters from killing them and catch them for training?

You can't directly (although that would be nice). Best thing I can think of is restricting your hunters to the caverns with burrows.

The only way to catch a creature so it can be trained is to catch it in a cage trap.

if the dingos are moving in a pack, I suggest building a large number of cagetraps in an area that they're likely to pass through because once the head dingo is caught the others will hang around his cage instead of pressing on. If you have a bunch of cagetraps you get a bunch of dingos
