Well there's a whole day spent looking after my nephew. I'm not sure if there will be an update tomorrow because we will be preparing/celebrating my 18th birthday and my moms (our birthdays are actually on the 26th). Who knows.

You still want a dwarf right?

DEAD

Meph formerly known as Askak Sodelmeng, Competent Swordsdwarf, Militia Leader.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Journal of xom, Apostle of Armok.
Tomio ran up to me today just as the finishing touches were placed on the temple to Armok.
"You know, with the temple up you wont really have all that much time to be our expedition leader, how bout you let me take over?"
"What? Why would you be a good leader?"
"Oh, umm, I find helping other rewarding?"
"Ugh, fine. I don't want to argue and you are right about me not having much time to lead everyone else, go ahead."

(No it isn't winter yet but he just wanted to be Expedition Leader so he is now)

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
I didn't know dwarves could growl at things they attack.

All in a days work for Meph, taking out beak dogs with no harm to him. They did take out a cat and a frill lizard though... Thankfully we have another cat, some kittens and 1 extra frill lizard.

WHYYYYYY! You were on a roll too!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Let us give a moment of silence for our first casualty. All that armor isn't worth much if your head gets ripped off.

If there are any weaponsmiths, armorsmiths, or doctors present I'd like to be dwarfed as one please.

Merry Christmas all!

I love the storyline on this; there's a lair called "The National Sewer"? We're having trouble with the wildlife already? Excellent.

Its time to dig deep fast.

Meph is dead if you didn't see the spoiler, he was killing all the wildlife with no problem until a beak dog got him by the head. Funny, now the beakdog is called Frozenkindness.

8 new migrants! Getting their info up as I write.

I understood that Meph had died during an incident with the local wildlife. Were we having trouble with it, or just trying to wipe it all out?

Also it says Red Panda Boar on the reports. Was there actually another wave of beakdogs?

I'd like to be dwarfed to a male dwarf too if possible. A swordsdwarf. If he has to have a civilian profession, an armor or weaponsmith would be great, or anything in the metalworking industry.

Yeah, I was overzealous in my urge to give blood to the blood god so I ordered Meph to kill all the animals that came into the land. There was a wave of 4 beak dogs and he killed every creature up until that last beak dog.

I am an Apostle to Armok, what can I say.

The only male dwarf left unnamed is a farmer, would you like him?

Yaroo!! A Forest Imp Drive it away!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Three (maybe more) Forest Imps decided to see if there was anything to steal from our fort Cavernousinch, they were instantly torn apart by our war mastiffs. Tomio sent out the Militia Comander ZackTheGreat and Logem to kill any more that decide to pop up, not that our mastiffs aren't any bad.

Our liason has come, no wonder the Forest Imps were there. What do we need/want?

ZackTheGreat the Milita Commander? Eeeeeeexcelent. > : D

Edit: I'm not sure my opinion counts (although I am considering taking a turn), but I think we are going to need better armor and weapons early. It might be good to request some armor or some materials to better boost our metal industry?

How did you get to be a High Master Tracker Zack?
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

 :P Lol, Teethseductions

Yep, requested armor, metals, foreign weapons, blueprints and things like that.

I know I'm saying this early but I've gotten attached to this fort already and humbly request another turn after everyone else has had one if it's still alive by then

Mmm come here teeth let'me whisper in ya' ear...

Lol, anyways, woo me! Guess that means I'll be able to sneak up on some stupid goblin and slice his head off! (I think)

Good, now next fall our dwarves will be well equipped! Whats the layout look like so far for the fort anyways?

I guess I'll request a turn despite I have no idea what I'm doing, but I've always wanted to do a succession fort since Boatmurdered.

OH SHOOT!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I think we all know what this means...... Now who is it? This is a ticking time bomb waiting to explode.

And they found another sign...
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Call me unfaithful but I'm pretty sure anyone would be afraid of a massive carp creature. I just know its gonna appear soon, thats the third sign.

To the next overseer. Export this.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

"Facepalm" The Temple of Armok has an option to use Armoks help to reveal a cult and cue another "Facepalm", it turns whoever uses it into an ward of Armok. And I just so happened to have our only stone savant do it. Oh thank goodness, its only temporary.

Journal of xom, 17th of Obsidian, 113, Late Winter.

Today everyone met at the Temple of Armok to see if there was a cult of the carp god infiltrator. Our stone savant volunteered himself to be used by Armok. As he prayed to Armok we became more and more tense. Was there someone among us who wanted to kill us I thought? Well here's the moment of truth. In a flash of light Ducim transformed into a Ward of Armok. Nothing happened. "All right, count yourselves up, who's all here?" xom, ZackTheGreat, Godlysockpuppet, Panopticon, Shade, Zen, CaptainArchmage, everyone accounted for.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Wait a second, wheres Tomio?
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Well, Spring has arrived so it is time for me to hand it over to the next overseer. I will upload the save and show the current layout in a moment. Good luck finding that cult, I didn't.

Here's the layout of the fort as of now.

Entrance/over map
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Have plans.

Stockpiles
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
More digging needed.

Workshops/forges
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

You know, I kinda like the concept of having the forges making weapons in the living stone.

Bedrooms
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Largely unfinished.

And finally. AUGH!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Why did I have to choose a farmer!?

Save uploaded, here it is
