I'm sure our family has explosives. How narrow is the hole? What can we carry into it?

Explosives was a joke, mostly :P This is high fantasy after all. A pick or some bit of metal to break glass. I'm curious as to whether we -just- fit or not. Maybe we should just grab a rock and carry it in.

How heavy is our tail? Can we hypothetically smash the sphere with it?

Draw a rough approximation of a circle beside (or rather under) a T-shaped block.
