One thing I would like is the readme being updated on what the differences are between the playable races. Kind of wonder if there are any little details that might be there to watch out for.

Edit: I wonder if there is a wiki that shows everything about this mod like there is for the unmoded game.

I think I must be doing something wrong  because I can't seem to start making rainbow bricks.

Right now I want to start using the renamed adamantine to make things but I'm not quite sure how to do it in this mod.

...so, about those plants. I think I'll be in the mood to make them and finish this release, soon-ish. I'll also update the readme when I do.


-For solid rainbow things (including bricks), you need to solidify a rainbow chunk (using a synneplast chunk from the cloud workshop, and a jar of liquid rainbow that you've mixed from spectra) and use it in the spectral kiln. I'm sure I've tested solid rainbow production, so this should work.

-The reaction for starmetal (adamantine) wafers has been moved to the Taint Refinery.

I seem to have solved the worldgen rejection. Well, I solved it by giving all the crops to everyone, actually. I'm still not sure how it works.

I really like to see a new verson of this mod sometime.

I also wonder if there is a verson of this mod that could be downloaded and used to copy over verson 0.40.24 of dwarf fortress and work with that.

Apparently, 40.24 has gotten better at finding errors in code. Going to fix everything that has just came up in the log, then test.

-Altered metal properties.

Fungal steel and dark iron aren't super-metals anymore; they're both slightly better than steel. The rating goes like this: steel - mithril - felsteel - fungal steel - dark iron. All of them are insufficient for the task of killing exoskeletal alicorns; fungal steel or dark iron blades should take care of the non-alicorn mythic beasts, however.

-Using the arsenal from Stal's Armory Pack

-Added precious marble types (Civforge)

-Added glazes (using talc, pitchblende, hematite, lead ores, cobaltite - Orichalcum)

-Saronite Steel needs Dark Iron

-Ether orbs should be stockpilable as stone tools

-Added dark iron ore (small clusters inside iron ore veins)

-Added star silver nuggets (small clusters inside silver ore veins; smelted into silver, star silver and mithril; star silver is slightly better than iron)

-Can make noble bronze from copper and mithril, it's better than iron, below steel

-Can make noble electrum from silver, gold & mithril

-Altered felsteel production (first need to make green pig iron with taint crystals instead of flux, then react with iron, coal, vanadium, more crystals)

-Rainbow Factory reworked

This time, the rainbows are actually like the rainbows in canon: they're normally liquids, instead of being metal bars.

What it does now:
-Body parts go into Extractors, as before;
-Extractors produce spectral orbs, as before, but the orbs are now color-coded; there's a probability to produce an orb of each type;
-Spectral orbs are liquefied at the Spectral Mixer (ex-Smelter), and liquid spectra is stored in jugs. There's a chance of producing a 'dead' rogue stone that can be 'energized' with rainbow sludge (the grinder works as before);
-Liquid spectra is mixed into rainbows, which are also liquid;
-Rainbows can be solidified using a synneplast chunk, in order to make furniture and other stuff at the Spectral Kiln (no fuel needed);
-Reactions that require rainbow (like producing enchanted bonemold, etc) will use liquid rainbow;
-Stockpiling: spectral orb material is under 'stone'; liquid spectra and rainbows are under 'misc liquid' (food); solidified rainbows are also 'stone'. Also, I've made Ether Orb material 'stone';
-Extractor and Grinder reactions use the Pressing labor, Mixer and Altar reactions use Alchemy; Kiln reactions use Alchemy (for treating synneplast with liquid rainbow) or Pottery (for forming things out of solid rainbow chunks).

-New plants, including several kinds of wheat; the wheat reactions (threshing, etc) taken from Plant Fixes

One thing I have been wondering about the mod is why can't the winged chimera ponies fly?

I wonder if there is any particular reason for them to not be able to fly even when the game does say that they have wings.

I've tried adding the flight tags back in 0.40; the result was lots of pegasi getting stuck in trees, again.
