Guys guys guys. You're all acting as if the gods themselves are the strongest psykers there are! You say the emperor can handle all four? Then i raise you the fucking hive mind. No psyker can compete. None.

Psykers don't suddenly lose their power when the Hive Mind approaches. Not all of them, anyway. I see no reason why the gods or the Emperor couldn't compete.

Well the Emperor isn't in tip top condition...

He does power much of the empire's psychic network, if I recall correctly, and as Sirius said, his soul and mind are strong. Though the daily sacrifice of ~1000 psykers to sustain him probably does help.

Besides doing stuff like bring saints back from the dead and making things asplode? The Empy's a cool guy. He keeps the Imperium running. Big fan of music too. Without his awesome singing it would all fall apart; there's no doubt the Empy could do a whole lot more than sit if he weren't so focused on keeping an Empire alive.

I believe he could do all of those things when he was still "alive" too. He just didn't require psyker sacrifices.

Idea get!

So what if we have Samus transplanted into the Mass Effect universe? Samus could arrive at any time and it'd be interesting. Pre-contact and she might become a bounty hunter, filling a familiar niche. Post-contact and she might be nominated as the second specter instead of the virmire survivor.

Alternatively, Normandy crew in the Metroid universe. So many possibilities...
