I wasn't saying put the mercenaries in the house. We could trade up... though at this point I don't think anyone wants to leave Al or Cherish behind so it would probably end up that way now that I think about it. lol

Granted I forgot that mercenaries were supposed to be untrustworthy... ...

Though... Slog and Goombess both seem trustworthy (though for Slog that's more because he had the disposition of a recently adopted puppy)...

Considering Mercenaries are just poor sods who got pulled into the warrens for whatever reason, I can support Monk's sentiment. I wouldn't be surprised if the arena works kinda like the reverse, albeit temporarily.

Yeah, that with one or two hints from FFS randomizer makes me wonder if the mercenaries are actually the trustworthy ones...

And you can't blame them for wanting money (or in some cases they just want help)... you would too if you were stuck in Airduct Town.

The Illborn Exchange transforms into some kind of chain whip, perfect for lashing rowdy servants into submission. However, it takes up a whole four inventory spaces! Al drops the Bartering Ram just to make his new toy fit.

Anyone have a suggestion for a better weapon for Goombess?  We should get rid of Icicle Flurry since 6 SP for 4d2 damage seems pretty mediocre, especially on the -10 magic level.  I thought there was an items index but it appears to be... mostly theoretical.
