Slog: Feed mushroom to ciro, get into a position to take a hit or two.
Riltia: Drink SP potion, cast locking glass on yourself, although without the lockdown part.

Time to figure out, in the middle of combat, in a puzzle room, while Riltia's the only one who shouldn't be distracted.

I don't know... Slog solved the puzzle, and seems to be pretty much the most competent. I think that with the buff and surprise bonus he'd probably have a pretty good positional bonus. Not to mention that if Polaris turns focus to him, Riltia may be able to get off an opportunity attack of some sort with another positional bonus. Besides, unless she's cleft in twain again, she should be able to stabilize if she goes down. All in all, I think a Slog surprise attack would do more good in keeping his focus off of Ciro. If she heals herself, it'll probably draw his attention, what with her being GIANT and all.

I tend not to call "summoned a giant monster to kill us" as a successful solution to most puzzles. Typically, it's a subtle sign that you failed.

Are you kidding me. A: Slog caused the boss to appear, B: Slog has just wasted SP throughout the fight and has generally been porky in earthbound levels of usefulness. Next, I'd rather have ciro at full health than at the point where almost any kind of attack will kill her, and stuff.

If the mushroom can't go to Ciro, then it should go to riltia, and have her fight polaris with buffs, such as locking glass, and perhaps blood armor that we make for her, while we stay safely out of trouble with some medium/long ranged weapon.
