I think we should find a post master or mistress and have them deliver the letter. It is only logical.

Hey, no complaints here. (Except maybe the estimated time of adding waitlisters...)

Pay tipkeeper 1p, ask for info regarding viewing of innate traits and passive abilities.
I like the 'sell shortsword, buy inventory slot' option.
H) Sell the shortsword

You go over and ask the Tipkeeper about passive abilities and how to discover them. She requests a single FP, so you throw one her way. Riltia exchanges her Shortsword for ten FP. The Tipkeeper opens a book and flips through it.

Well, first off, restore yo SP at the fountain, then hit overwrite.

Then Ciro, make a blood dagger and drop it on the floor, then hit restore.

I agree, we need to find out how save points work exactly.

Riltia restores her SP to maximum. You follow up by whapping Overwrite on the save point. Literally whapping. This is, canonically, how menus work.

The Save Point records your current HP/SP values. Master plan: 1/3 complete.

buy another inventory slot.

While you're working with the save point, Riltia forks over 20 Pence for another Inventory Slot. Riltia now has six inventory slots! Wait, weren't you going to take that one? Oh well, whatever.

(Bloodshape: 11) You Bloodshape another Empowered Clot Cutter. It costs 1 MHP and 4 MSP. Master plan: 2/3 complete.

D) Lets stash the love letter in storage, because seriously, why are we holding onto it? People didn't like holding onto the headband, but that actually did stuff. This letter does us no good. Also, if/when we play as the recipient of the letter she can pick it up at storage and read it herself.
Isn't it not hers?

Anyhoo, go to storage?
So yeah, Inventory management

You whap "Restore" on the Save Point as Riltia teleports to the underside. If everything went as planned, you should now have...

ffs is pretty silly, but I don't think he's as silly or the kind of silly we'd need to let us pull that level of Rules As Written cheese.

but I don't think he's as silly or the kind of silly

but I don't think

He thought wrong.

You wop wop wop to the Underside with Slog in tow. Time to meet up with Riltia again.

I personally feel we should just put the new sword in storage in case we need its Electric element for later. Also we should save some odd stuff in case we get another skill tree.
I'm good with this. +1

You meet up with Riltia and stash the new sword in Storage. I mean, sure, maybe it'd come in handy, but you really need those inventory slots! Hey, shouldn't Slog be on the Storage screen too? Maybe he has a bad reputation and they banned him from Storage or something.

Hug Slog
This and
We must build a baby harness for Slog so we can wear him as a backpack.
this! YES!
SO MUCH WIN

Uh oh. Ciro may now have greater current stats than max, but she is now missing the clot cutter and the max stat values went down.

At least Riltia didn't lose the inventory slot she obtained during that whole mess. For a second I thought we were going to be out our just-purchased stuff.

... Wait. If the inventory didn't get reset, as shown by our pence and short sword remaining gone, then where did the Clot Cutter go? I can only think that Ciro dropped it for the experiment, and didn't pick it back up. We need to go back and get it! Then we can reabsorb it and bounce our current stats to 9/8 and 14/10!

I think this translates from freeformschoolerese as 'Please don't fuck with game mechanics again, or the consequences will be way worse than permanently losing stats'.
