Call down to them, see if we get a response.

If you don't hear from them, just head back to the checkpoint and restore your save. Crisis averted.

May be hopeless due to turns and bends.  With our luck they're hanging out right next to Cain, which would mean a new intermission!  But also with our luck they landed in that weird place Betweenford lives, and are suffocating in a pile of rhymes he didn't feel like using.  And nachos, because nachos.

Also, as for Cherish, meeting Ciro's corpse is meaningless, though some of the memories we might have stolen when we fused with Mili will make it confusing for both of us.

She met his corpse

I think Al threw her offscreen whenever he pulled the body out of his inventory

Monk:  Don't forget Riltia fell down with our heal pot.  Now might be the time to find that Ruby for the healer.

As far as Cherish and Riltia, yes.  Nothing on Ciro- it's unlikely she'd even draw a connection between Dead Old Ciro and New Ciro.

God help us if we have to agree on pizza toppings at some point. There will be no survivors.

Mostly, my objections for immediately continuing our quest for the Ruby boil down to the fact that our two best meatshields tanks just fell in a pit, leaving squishy us with squishy Slog to do any fighting. And so far, the vast majority of new rooms have involved some level of combat.

I wish we still had our ladder, though.

I think I figured out how to become a cheater. Use the ladder when we get our class tree back.

Ciro could always bloodshape a new ladder.

She met his corpse
Well, we'll just need to win her over with our excellent personalities.
Ciro and Rilitia, that is. Bay12 sucks.

And Slog sucks at combat.
I knew he wouldn't be worth much from the moment I saw we could buy him with a cookie.

[GreatWyrmGold] gets a little crown. May it forever be his mark of Cain; let no one argue pointless subjects with him lest they receive the same.

I say we try this. If we fail... Well, we can send Slog down first to test it out and make sure it is not deadly.

We used it to climb down to B2 early on before we went to Underside.

This is unrelated to the current situation, but...

Look at Proxy. While we were in oversoul her image got all fuzzy. Wonder what was up with that.

Maybe oversoul kinda drains power from every soul that isn't ours?

Corai: Its because she has her own soul star on her person.

Bloodladder: Brilliant, we must try it.

GWG: Its on the first floor, we had to leave it. There is a teleport pad on the first floor however, so if we go back up, get to it and activate it, we can take it and go on our merry way.
