That helps to know! Also nice to know he showed an example of himself by draining his own soul charge manually!
Gonna check to see a before/after of our soul charge for the arena battle.

Also, let's go north. Because west and south don't exist.
+1, and I believe he gained it because a purple gem moved to the first slot in his soul star. Speaking of which, we should attempt to sell the gems that Yaos is causing to appear.

You head north. It's another one of those scary looking rooms. Almost completely empty except for an east exit and an enormous treasure chest at the northern wall. It looks... heavily locked.

HE DIDN'T HAVE THAT PURPLE GEM A SECOND AGO WHAT THE HELL

"Show me your Soul Star, I want to see how it's changed. If we pay attention, maybe we can stop the horrible pain."

He shows you his star thingy. Another red number, but it's all the way on the bottom-right.

Ask if we can have the menu shown in her status spoiler each update, or a version of that which makes sense.

Oh, hey, we need to return to the electric puzzle and arrange the pieces as seen left of the chest.

Let the pawn-pushing commence!

Hey, Yaos has blue gems, and Ciro's SP is only 2/6, shouldn't we use some of those?

Also, Yaos might soon become Illborn if the red number hits his Soul Charge

I think we pretty much understand how his soul star works now. Bottom row goes left to right, when it gets pushed off the leftmost edge it winds up on the rightmost top row, then goes to the left. When it reaches spot one, Yaos is affected by it, either by regaining SP which has been seen multiple times now, or by gaining a gem. The red ones are probably health, maybe.

Pawn-pushin' activate, ask for some blue gems because our SP is low, ask what purple gem does.

Actually, we're prettymsure that the red numbers are draining his Soul Charge, as it's been slowly draining.

Open menu of soul star thingy, or ask him/her to show us it's menu.

Not necesarily, his soul-charge might have been heightened by having to suffer because of his crystal-stuff and pretty much being clueless and alone in a dungeon. Since Ciro alevates and or helps with said problems, it would make sense that Yaos' Sould-charge - speak mental stress - gets lower.

Maybe its not draining soul charge rather than transferring soul charge to the Great Gem percentage? But yeah, we might want to get Yaos to raise his soul charge before that red number gets around. Although, on the other hand we'd get to see the change from free soul to illborn first hand. Might be lethal though.

Since when is Soul Charge mental stress? I thought we pretty much tied down that it's a level of how close/far a character is from being Illborn.
