AN OPEN LETTER TO THE BAY12S ABOUT FORUM GAME:
Two things here.

One, I think a lot of the problem is the change of pace, not the pace itself. If you normally update Warrens twice a day, and then suddenly we get no updates for a week and a half and you start up a different forum game, it looks like you've lost interest and moved on to something else. Which is technically true, just not in the ways some people might think.

Two, I fully understand the burnout-refresh thing from experience. Just thought you might want to hear that.

3: I like doing everything myself because I am a goddamn masochist.

The offer is much appreciated though. Thank you, everyone.
If there's anything we can do, even indirectly, don't hesitate to ask.

I'd totally play a lute to help you relax or something, for instance. :P

Probably only the updates, is a fast reader, or had a good chunk of time on his hands. Not that surprising really, most of the posts are commands, comments, or lately, theorycrafting.

When we finally confront Proxxy, I think we shouldn't kill her.

I've been thinking, and maybe when a sibling dies, they respawn with no memories. Proxxy is pretty in the dark compared to the others as she dies very often at the hand of The Target. If we captured her instead and somehow prevent the other siblings from killing her, we might have one more token to defeat Oric, nay defeat THE WARRENS for good.
+1. For different reasons, but +1

such as playing non-Siblings for a while (whatever that means),
Given the ability of our Soul Star, I seriously doubt that's all that uncommon, or important (whoever set up the cycles would have to be incredibly incompetent to miss that we would end up doing that).
recruiting a Sibling
Again, I doubt that is all that uncommon given how easy to do it was, how dedicated to us she is for little apparent reason, and her title and associations.
and a major minion of another,
We have yet to see how this will play out, but given some of the chatter between Cain and Proxxy, plus the fact that Cherish was hired a very short time ago, I suspect this is really not a big deal.
and a giant Sibling/Illborn/Yandere thing carbing tunnels through the Warrens
Again, given that the Angels (?) purposely caused this to happen, that they said it would have happened soon anyway, and that technically it was the Underside not the warrens, I doubt this is quite as monumental an occurrence as you might think. After all, the tunnels and such in the Underside had to get formed somehow in the first place, right?
Besides, a fairly large amount of the dungeon seems to randomly recreate itself every so often, so yeah.

That would be cool, but I don't have a consistent weekly schedule for my life, so one for forum games might be reaching :P
I know that feel.

For a while, not just switching over to make them do something or something. Also notable that Ciro is dead during that time.
Maybe not unheard of, but almost certainly notable.

True, I suppose...

I find this doubtful, but time will tell.
I certainly doubt its commonness.

And then not get wrecked. This isn't something they always do, otherwise they wouldn't have commented so much on it. Regardless, it bored new holes. That can't be good for structural stability...

What makes you say that, and what makes you think that's a quality of the whole Warrens?

DL2 changed significantly between the last time we were there and now. The shop room had a door to the north, leading to vending machines. One of those vending machines ended up where we met Yaos (also apparently the way to Proxxy).

Quick! Musicians! The Ballad of Oric the Awesome!

Oh Oric the awesome was a bad guy
Or at least we think so, he might have lied

So along came Ciro, a silent man
He entered the Warrens with his lootin hands

Ciro fought some monsters and made a friend
Who could stick with, until the end

After meeting an angel they took a spill
and from then on their journey was uphill

In Underside,
Where Ciro Died
Al and Riltia,and Cherish too!
Will make him rise anew!

Past the Illborn was an acid pit
They met Wilford and Al threw a fit

He killed the guard, and the pit glowed
Riltia rose out and "CIRO" she bellowed

Cherish had to run, oh yes she did
And she met Proxxy, after she hid

The Sibling seemed quite fond of her
Along with a crab, they traveled hither

Ciro was reborn as a girl
she was quite confused as she stepped of the swirl

And then crap went down
Everyone frowned
Our hero used OVERSOUL
With fixing Riltia as her goal

We spent some time with a dude named Cain
He committed a crime, and was put in chains

Back to Ciro now, in the arena
The prize was used on Slog who just wanted a pizza

The team broke the rules and summoned a miniboss
But luckily for them, it was his loss

They got back Al, and spent a really long time
With Megaman, in their downtime

So then Ciro's friends, fell down again
He stuck with Yao who may have been a woman?

But Yaos charge ran out
Ciro had to clean up the fallout
So he summoned us
For a rumpus

Yaos was gone for good, and Slog was dead
Ciro tried to fix it, and to the greens she sped

Nothing really happened, and so she left
She encountered Cherish was sympathy dereft

But Cherish got a letter, and had second thoughts
So here we are! and that's the plot

FFS said earlier that that was an earlier design for Oric, which got scrapped in favor of his new design, and then used for Spira instead.

As for Furtuka's song, I'm going to write an acoustic guitar backing and record it tonight, because it is glorious.
