Did some more work on the Advanced Navigation menu, currently indexed up to Chapter 2, Part 2. Here's little things I noticed in my binge.



Looks like Al has not, in fact, gone to Outer Underside before.



Well that's interesting. And ominous. Makes the Underside seem a bit more... dystopian.

And oh hey, that plush cat was given to Proxxy by Cherish, which is how those values got started on the Shipping Grid.



So, Cherish is the active PoV. Is that Soul Charge hers, or Ciro's?

And could this upcoming boss battle feature the return... of Cool Crab!?!

EDIT: Also it occurs to me that our successful Theorycrafting increased the capabilities of two Soul Stars we know to be in enemy possession. So hopefully that doesn't bite us in the ass.

Notably, Riltia takes love in and puts hate out (though in her defense without Slog she'd be getting nothing,) Ciro and Cherish also get more than they give, and Al breaks even. I'm amused that Al went from having all the ladies swoon over him in the first Shipping Grid, to having nobody but Ciro really like him. And Al likes Ciro more than Ciro likes Al (and more than Al likes Riltia, or Cherish...)

I did a PageRank-type thing and got these values:

Al: 40%
Cherish: -8%
Riltia: 50%
Ciro: 55%
Proxxy: -54%
Slog: 17%

Cherish's negative score comes from the fact that Proxxy likes Cherish, and nobody likes Proxxy (well, except Slog), so Proxxy must be WRONG about Cherish.

Actually, I'm not sure I discovered anything particularly interesting here; too much depends on how I adjust the weighting system to incorporate negative numbers, and intuitively -1*-1=1 ("the enemy of my enemy is my friend") doesn't make sense on the shipping grid.  The point I want to make, though, is that a "love" and a "hate" shouldn't just cancel out - they should both increase a "strength of feelings" score.
