Slog's the mercanary slime companion we had for ages and around 90% of the readers fell in love with. He wasn't really an obscure character.

Uhm guys, Slog is canned. Put in a bus, whatever. He'll be dumped back in whenever the GM feels like it would be (in)convenient.

Slog really shouldn't be mentioned unless it's a plan to pick him up in the Greens, or theorycrafting.
