1) Activate checkpoint: can't we use it to travel back to the previous one and be closer to the door of the 'greens'?

2) Shouldn't there be a sort of 'Yandere' heart between Cirro and Riltia?

Open Astral Influx, click on Proxxy.

Nothing happens when you click on Proxxy's icon.

Activate checkpoint, go through door

Activate checkpoint, ride the crab, and allow proxy to take the lead

Proxxy puts the Plush Cat in her Storage and grabs something out of it in exchange. You ride Cool Crab, the most bitchin' mount around, over to the Checkpoint and whack it with your staff.

It looks like you could if you wanted to. You have no idea what condition your old village is in, though.
