Are you seriously going to let that murderer go free? I don't remember anybody being this self-conscious about killing Wilford, who wasn't a smug fuck. And a murderer, because I really can't stress this point often enough. Also, FREE HP.

This.  Remember Ciro got shanked in reply 267 and we didn't talk to Rilita till reply 321.  Obviously there's some in-game-weirdness connection, but Ciro's been dead for all the crazy stuff.  We can assume he knows nothing about Cherish, for example.  Al, to him, is just someone useful he met that brought him back to life.

Ciro is now a blood mage who remembers a violent death happening to him. Considering the smug fuckiness of Al, (s)he should have no inhibitions whatsoever against murdering him where he stands (especially with the prospect of free HP).
