On a side note, don't videogame slimes split when killed. Meaning we should now get slog 1,2,3 and 4

Most likely this. Mercenaries are replaceable. Knowing you guys though, we'll find SOME way to get that slime back. And by we, I mean you people who actually like Slog's infinite adorableness.

The reverted save might work. Other than that though, not much comes to mind on bringing the slime back. Might be a resurrect scroll around here somewhere though, either for sell or found.
